For Parents & Guardians

You decide who follows your child.

On LifeScape, every child's profile is managed by their parent or legal guardian. Nobody can follow your child or get updates about them until you say yes.

Your rights

  • ✓Decide who may follow your child. Nobody follows until you approve them.
  • ✓Remove a follower at any time, for any reason.
  • ✓Choose whether your child's name is shown to the team, to everyone, or to no one.
  • ✓Decide whether photos and videos of your child may appear on the public team page. Until you say yes, only the team family (signed-in team members, parents, and approved followers) can see them.
  • ✓Change that answer at any time. Saying no takes your child's photos off the public page right away.
  • ✓See new photos and videos of your child before the team family does, when the team uses parent review. Anything you don't say No to within 3 days is shared with the team family -- never with the public unless you've said yes to public photos.
  • ✓Take down any photo or video of your child yourself, at any time, from My Kids. It comes down right away.
  • ✓Ask the team's StoryKeeper to take down any photo or video of your child.
  • ✓Stop being your child's guardian on LifeScape whenever you choose.

Your responsibilities

  • •You are this child's parent or legal guardian.
  • •You will only approve followers you know and trust.
  • •You will keep your LifeScape sign-in to yourself.
  • •You will tell the StoryKeeper if something about your child should not be shown.

How to get started

  1. Your team's StoryKeeper sends you an invite link for your child.
  2. Open the link and sign in with the same email address the invite was sent to.
  3. Read and agree to your rights and responsibilities. You are then connected to your child.
  4. Use My Kids to approve or decline anyone who asks to follow them.

No invite yet? Ask your team's StoryKeeper to add your email to your child on the roster.
