Better Seasons by LifeScape

Momentary

Riverside Youth Sports: The Comeback Season

This is what you'll get

Your kids, on the big screen.

Anyone can post a highlight. A Momentary tells the story: where the team started, the work nobody saw, the moment everything was on the line, and why it mattered. Every family adds their footage, the StoryKeeper shapes it, and the whole team watches their season the way it deserves to be told.

What makes LifeScape different

A highlight shows what happened. A story shows why.

Photo apps give you a pile. Social feeds give you a scroll. Better Seasons helps you build a story with a beginning, a middle and an end, the way the people who lived it will remember it.

1

The history

Where the team started. Last year's heartbreak, the new faces, the ones who almost didn't come back.

2

The anticipation

The first day, the nerves, the game everyone circled on the calendar.

3

The work

Tuesday nights, cold gyms, the hundredth rep. The part nobody sees, and the part that matters most.

4

The moment

Bases loaded. Down by one. Every family holding their breath.

5

Why it mattered

The shy kid who found his voice. Teammates who became friends. What they'll carry for life.

Tell one story or many. Just tell it right.

One Momentary for the whole season, or one for every chapter: the comeback, the tournament trip, senior night, a single player's journey. However many you tell, each one is shaped with care, by your people, with your footage.

Start telling yours

Every sport. Every age.

The scoreboard says who won. The season is everything else.

The early practices, the car rides, the first goal, the friendships. Better Seasons gathers what every family captures and turns it into a story the whole team will keep.

Soccer

For teams

Coaches, team moms and parent volunteers

  • Set up your team's page in about five minutes.
  • One QR code invites every family. You confirm each parent.
  • Everyone adds photos and video from their phone.
  • Tell the season as a story: one Momentary or many, each one told right.
  • Works for rec leagues, travel teams, school teams and clubs.

For parents

Your child's season, on your terms

  • See your child's season in one place, not scattered across group chats.
  • Approve photos of your child every week, with a simple Yes or No.
  • Invite grandparents and family. You approve every follower.
  • Message other team parents without sharing your phone or email.
  • Keep the story long after the last game.

How it works

From first practice to final whistle.

01

A StoryKeeper sets up the page

A coach, team mom or parent creates the team page and agrees to the StoryKeeper responsibilities before anything opens.

02

Families join with one code

Parents scan the team QR code, sign up, and the StoryKeeper confirms each one. Families who don't join can sign a simple permission slip.

03

Everyone captures the season

Practices, game days, road trips, team dinners. Parents add what they see, and the StoryKeeper shapes it into the team's story.

04

Relive it together

Watch the season as short films and a living team page, shared only with the people you choose.

Built for kids. Controlled by parents.

Your child. Your call. Every time.

Most team photos end up in group chats and public feeds where parents have no say. Better Seasons was built the other way around: nothing about your child is shared beyond the team without your permission, and you can change your mind at any time.

Families who don't join

Not every family will sign up, and that's fine. They can sign a short permission slip instead, including the choice to appear in team moments but never be named.

Parents approve every photo

Each week you get one email with the new photos of your child. Tap Yes or No. Change your mind later and take any photo down.

You choose who sees your child's name

Show it to the team only, to everyone, or to no one. Your child can appear in team moments without ever being named.

Public only with your Yes

A child's photo reaches the public team page only when their parent has said yes. Otherwise it stays with the team family.

You approve every follower

Grandma, uncles, family friends: each one asks, and you decide. Remove anyone at any time and their access ends.

A StoryKeeper you can trust

Every StoryKeeper agrees to get permission first, review everything before it's shared, and honor take-down requests promptly.

Messages without your number

Other parents can reach you through LifeScape. Your email and phone stay hidden, and you can turn messages off.

Parent-run pages stay off Google

Friends pages are kept out of search engines, and their front picture never shows children.

Leave whenever you want

If your family leaves, your access is paused and any photo you ask us to remove comes down. Come back and it's all there.

Two ways to start

Is your coach on board, or is it just a few of you?

Either way works. Many teams start with a handful of parents, and others follow.

Official team page

The coach, club or school knows about it. The page uses the team's real name, and every family on the roster is invited.

Best for: whole teams, clubs, school programs

Friends page

A few parents (up to 7 families) keeping the season together on their own. It gets its own name, never the team's, stays off Google, and shows no children up front.

Best for: carpools, friend groups, one age group of a bigger club

See it in action

Watch a real team's season.

Better Seasons began with one real youth team: practices, game days, road trips and the friendships in between. Open their page to see what yours will feel like.

Questions parents ask

Who can see my child's photos?

Only the people you allow. Photos of your child go to you for a Yes or No each week. Your child shows on the public team page only if you choose that. Otherwise they're shared with the team family and the followers you approved.

What if I don't want my child online at all?

Say so on the permission form or in your settings. The StoryKeeper is responsible for honoring it, and any photo you decline is held back. You can also let your child appear in team moments without being named.

Does our coach have to run it?

No. Any parent can be the StoryKeeper. If the coach or club isn't involved, a few families can start a Friends page together. It uses its own name, not the team's, and stays off Google.

Which sports and ages?

All of them. Soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, football, flag football, volleyball, hockey, lacrosse, track, cheer and more. Youth teams use parent permission for every player, and adult teams skip those steps.

Will other parents get my phone number or email?

No. Messages are passed along by LifeScape, so your contact details stay private. You decide who can message you, or turn it off.

What happens if we leave the team?

Your family's access is paused, not deleted. Anything you ask to have removed is taken down. If you rejoin, everything comes back.

Every season ends.
The story doesn't have to.

Your story, your people, your footage, told your way. Start your team's page today, or ask your team's StoryKeeper for the family QR code.
